Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer based in Alexandria, Virginia, to design and operate automated delivery pipelines and secure cloud environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient software delivery while embedding security practices directly into workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or platform automation roles.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using IaC.
• Experience containerizing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Responsibilities

• Build and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or similar platforms.
• Embed security automation into all pipeline stages.
• Engineer and maintain cloud‑based DevSecOps toolchains on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code to provision and secure cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks.
