Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to integrate cybersecurity into Agile SDLC, CI/CD, and modern cloud-native applications. You will work with mission partners, system owners, and development teams to implement RMF/NIST-based controls and perform automated security testing.

The role requires DoD security certifications, Top Secret clearance, and residence within commutable distance of Fort Meade, MD or Chambersburg, PA for a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite weekly).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience.
• DoD 8140 Work Role 652 – Security Architect Certification requirement (must have at least one of the listed certs).
• Must have and maintain a current DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Hybrid onsite schedule (4 days onsite weekly) within commutable distance of Fort Meade, MD or Chambersburg, PA.

Responsibilities

• Embed cybersecurity engineering into Agile software development and modernization activities.
• Integrate security requirements and controls throughout the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply DevSecOps and shift-left security principles to identify and remediate vulnerabilities earlier in development.
• Implement and support automated security testing within CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, system owners, ISSMs/ISSOs to implement technical security controls.
• Translate RMF, NIST SP 800-53 and DoD policy into actionable development tasks.
• Provide threat-informed security guidance for legacy, modernized, and cloud-native applications.
• Support secure development involving APIs, microservices, and containerized workloads.
