Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a senior DevOps leader to industrialize deployments and set standards for global Grid Software. You will drive DevSecOps across CREs, build scalable automation, and oversee CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub for secure, repeatable releases.

The role emphasizes collaboration with software engineering, product, and services teams to advance Evergreen deployments, ensure security compliance, and optimize operational excellence worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM with minimum ten years of experience in infrastructure automation and DevOps engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer to define an end-to-end DevSecOps process to bring CI/CD & DevOps principles to deliver GE Vernova Grid Software products to customer environments.
• Design, build, and maintain Customer Reference Environments (CREs) that provide a secure, scalable foundation for deployments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure automation and configuration management using Ansible to ensure consistency across environments.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub to enable efficient software integration, testing, and deployment.
• Manage artifact storage, versioning, and release promotion using Artifactory to support controlled delivery.
