Job summary

Lyntris is hiring a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer III for Software Solutions in San Diego. The role combines hybrid/onsite work with a focus on secure, regulated environments and complex delivery pipelines. You will collaborate with software and cyber engineers to automate infrastructure and streamline CI/CD across multiple programs.

The position requires an active U.S. national security clearance (or ability to obtain one) and a certification such as CompTIA Security+.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire.
• 5+ years of experience in containerization and orchestration, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Experience with Docker/Podman/Buildah, Kubernetes/OpenShift/Helm.
• Proficiency with GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Strong Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on
• Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable
• Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments
• Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems
• Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks

Required Qualifications

• Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one . To learn more about the security clearance process please access this link .
• CompTIA Security+ Certification or be able to obtain one within 45 days of hire.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with:
• Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
• Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
• CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
• infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field
• Demonstrated experience with:
• Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Full stack software development (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript, React, SQL)
• Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.
