4+ years of backend development with Python, Java, or C#.
4+ years of cloud development with AWS, Azure, or DAF Cloudworks.
Proficient with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
Front-end experience with React, Angular, or VueJS plus HTML5/CSS3.
Experience with automated testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium, Jest.

Responsibilities

Senior Full Stack Cloud Native Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Cloud-Native Developer with strong User Interface (UI) development expertise to design advanced solutions and enhance user experiences for mission-critical applications. As part of an innovative, fast-paced team, you will engage in design, development, testing, deployment, and integration of cutting-edge solutions that support the warfighter.

The successful candidate will design visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces while building sustainable, cloud-native applications within a rapid prototyping team. This role includes collaboration with software engineers, data engineers, DevSecOps engineers, and systems engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities

Translate user needs into intuitive interfaces using wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
Build and manage scalable back-end services using Python, Java, C#, or Go , and leverage Kubernetes, REST/GraphQL APIs , and microservices.
Work with data engineers to integrate data pipelines, analytics tools, and content delivery processes .
Partner with cyber engineers to enhance software security and develop automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments with DevSecOps teams.
Participate in architecture decisions, technical design reviews, Agile workflows , and iterative software delivery.
Troubleshoot performance issues, guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and advocate for UI best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years, Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
Clearance : U.S. citizenship with Active TS/SCI clearance.
On-Site Requirement : Willing to work 100% on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.
Back-End Development : 4+ years of experience with Python, Java, or C# .
Front-End Development : Team-based experience with React, Angular, or VueJS , plus HTML5, CSS3 , and modern UI standards.
Cloud Development : 4+ years with AWS, Azure, or DAF Cloudworks , and experience automating testing and delivery processes.
Tools & Processes : Expertise with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile Scrum , and CI/CD pipelines.
Testing & Optimization : Proficiency with automated testing (e.g., JMeter, Selenium, Jest ) and front-end optimization for accessibility and performance.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

UI/UX Expertise : Experience designing aesthetic, user-friendly, accessible interfaces with design tools ( Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch ) and a focus on responsive design, A11y compliance, and web performance.
DevOps Skills : Familiarity with Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, and container orchestration .
Certifications :
Google UX Design Professional Certificate – Focus on UI/UX design.
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Azure Developer Associate for cloud expertise.
Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) – Expertise in accessibility for UI/UX development.
Front End Libraries Certification (freeCodeCamp) or other practical UI certifications.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders and mentoring fellow developers.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days per week at a facility in Colorado S[rings, CO.
