Job summary

Lyntris, a defense technology company supporting U.S. Navy modernization efforts, seeks a DevOps/Platform Engineer (Level II) to build and scale microservice-driven pipelines. This role emphasizes rapid development, testing, fielding, and integration to container orchestration platforms with heavy automation.

Strong Kubernetes experience is required. The position is Full time with Remote/Hybrid options, and applicants must possess or be able to obtain an active U.S. national security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience with containerization (Docker/Podman), container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Helm), CI/CD automation tools, IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation), Linux systems, and scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell).

Lyntris is seeking an enthusiastic and talented DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the US Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This role is for folks who like being close to the work—building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different. Candidates must have strong experience in Kubernetes.

We work in small-to-mid size, diverse teams with clear ownership of tasking. Engineers are trusted in solving problems and aren’t waiting for permission to execute.

U.S. Navy warfighters need your help to rapidly deliver cutting edge software solutions to the fleet for planning and executing missions for carrier strike groups conducting operations around the world. Mission planners need to collaborate in order plan for anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarm information gain, and a wide range of other mission areas.

Clearance Requirements
