Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer (Level II) to advance modernization efforts for the US Navy, building and scaling microservices for rapid testing, fielding, and integration. You’ll design robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and support secure container platforms in regulated environments.

The role requires an active U.S. security clearance, container orchestration expertise, and strong scripting abilities, with collaboration across software and cyber teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Active U.S. security clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience with containers, orchestration, CI/CD tooling, and IaC.
• Strong Linux admin skills and scripting ability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on
• Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable
• Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments
• Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems
• Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks

Required Qualifications

• Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one . To learn more about the security clearance process please access this link .
• CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with:
  • Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
  • Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
  • CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field
• Demonstrated experience with
  • Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket )

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
