Job summary

Swift is seeking a Lead DevOps Platform Engineer to transform our infrastructure with Ansible-based automation and GitOps workflows. You will lead the central DevOps Tooling Organization, delivering secure, scalable, self‑service automation across infrastructure, platforms, and applications.

You will define automation standards, mentor teams, ensure governance, and partner with security and product teams to advance software delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive DevOps Platform Engineering roles, including at least 2 years as a lead.
• 5+ years of expertise in Ansible automation – playbooks, roles, collections in enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.
• Strong proficiency with RBAC, credential governance, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑grade Ansible automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections.
• Administer, scale, and secure the enterprise Ansible Platform (AAP/AWX).
• Integrate Ansible automation into CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Collaborate with security, platform, and application teams to standardize automation approaches.
• Coach teams on infrastructure‑as‑code and secure automation patterns.
