Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Manager of DevOps to lead a team of DevOps engineers and ensure delivery of strategic technology initiatives. The role partners with the Director of Cloud & Platform Operations to execute DevOps strategy, while maintaining accountability for delivery, capacity, and employee development.

The position focuses on CI/CD, IaC, deployment automation, security remediation, and cloud/platform engineering in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years' experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related technology disciplines.
Minimum of 3 years' experience directly managing and developing technical professionals.
Strong people leadership with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, motivate, and retain technical professionals.

Responsibilities

Lead assigned DevOps engineers to achieve focused, timely, and measurable results.
Translate organizational priorities into actionable team plans, milestones, and deliverables.
Own day-to-day delivery execution for DevOps initiatives and engineering commitments.
Manage team capacity, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and resource constraints.
Coordinate cross-functional work with software engineering, security, and operations teams.
