Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions seeks a Development Lead/Solution Architect to support the Department of Education's CPSS program in Washington, DC. The role focuses on CI/CD, IaC, and security-focused DevSecOps across AWS environments, with responsibilities for pipelines, standards, and documentation.

The position is remote and contingent on contract win. US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust/Secret clearance are expected, with competitive compensation and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and 10+ years of experience.
• Senior certification such as CISSP or equivalent is required or highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD, cloud automation, IaC, configuration management, and release automation.
• Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, security-tool integration, and AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical procedures, reusable automation, and platform documentation.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (active Secret preferred).

Responsibilities

• Engineer CI/CD workflows using Atlassian Cloud, FSA GitLab, and NGDC AWS environment.
• Implement pipeline-as-code, reusable templates, and automated quality gates.
• Integrate testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, security, and infrastructure.
• Implement IaC and cloud deployment patterns for portable applications.
• Maintain pipeline tool inventories, standards, and runbooks; provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
