Job summary

i3, LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced DevOps Lead Architect to drive enterprise cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and observability across modern apps. This hands-on role focuses on AWS foundations, IaC, CloudBees Core, Artifactory, Kubernetes, and monitoring with Datadog or New Relic.

You will lead engineering teams, define standards, and mentor staff while implementing Terraform/CloudFormation, GitOps, and runtime security policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with at least 3+ years in a lead or architectural capacity.
• Deep hands-on expertise with core AWS services (IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, S3, Route53, KMS) provisioned via Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Demonstrated proficiency architecting and operating CloudBees Core, including Operations Center management and distributed agent scaling.
• Strong hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters, Helm, ingress, and runtime security.
• Advanced administration of JFrog Artifactory and secure software supply chains (SBOMs, signed images).
• Hands-on experience with Datadog or New Relic for APM, metrics, logs, and tracing.
• Strong scripting in Python, Groovy, Bash, or Go.

Responsibilities

• AWS Architecture & IaC: Build scalable multi-account AWS environments using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• CloudBees Core: Design, deploy, and manage CloudBees Core with HA controllers and dynamic agents on Kubernetes.
• Kubernetes security: Scale and harden clusters, manage Helm, ingress, and policy enforcement.
• Artifact & package governance: Oversee Artifactory with promotion pipelines and Xray scanning.
• Observability & APM: Implement Datadog or New Relic across AWS and Kubernetes layers.
• DevSecOps: Integrate SAST/DAST and secret management into CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical leadership: Mentor engineers and guide architectural reviews.
