Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is hiring a senior Infra/DevOps engineer to design, deploy, and operate HPC/EDA compute, storage, and licensing platforms across on-prem, AWS, and Azure.

You will build robust CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins, standardize tool deployment, and manage hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The role requires 8+ years in DevOps or infrastructure for semiconductor or HPC environments, plus strong Linux administration and familiar with schedulers, NAS, and license management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, automating, and operating reliable infrastructure for semiconductor EDA, HPC, or similar compute-intensive environments.
• Strong experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent platforms.
• Strong administration skills with RHEL/Ubuntu, including automation, troubleshooting, and production operations.
• Practical experience with HPC schedulers (Slurm, Platform LSF, SGE) for workload management.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, automate, and operate compute, storage, licensing, and CI/CD platforms for HPC/EDA workloads across on-prem, AWS, and Azure.
• Build, maintain, and improve Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD pipelines, including automated deployment, configuration, validation, and regression testing.
• Standardize tool packaging, deployment, configuration, and version management across development and production environments.
• Manage Linux systems and virtualized infrastructure (Xen, VMware, KVM); administer hybrid-cloud infrastructure and secure networking.
• Administer workload schedulers (Slurm, LSF, SGE), automate job submission and resource allocation for higher throughput.
• Manage NAS/storage platforms (TrueNAS, NetApp ONTAP, AWS FSx for ONTAP) for HPC/EDA workloads.
• Deploy and maintain license servers (FlexLM), ensuring availability, monitoring, and compliance.
• Administer LDAP, AD, SSO, and related identity controls; enforce access controls and audit logging.
• Implement monitoring and reporting for compute, storage, schedulers, pipelines, and licenses; drive cost and reliability improvements.
