Job summary

Prodapt is seeking an experienced EDA Infrastructure & HPC Operations Engineer to manage the engineering compute infrastructure and EDA environments used by our semiconductor and R&D teams in San Jose, CA. You will deploy, administer, monitor, and provide operational support for HPC clusters, license servers, Linux systems, and user access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, IT or related.
• 3+ years in HPC infrastructure administration for EDA/semiconductor IT.
• Experience with Linux-based engineering environments and distributed storage.
• Familiar with major EDA tool ecosystems and license management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment, administration, monitoring of HPC clusters and EDA tool environments.
• Handle license servers (FlexLM/FlexNet) and environment modules for toolchains.
• Support job schedulers (LSF, SLURM, Grid Engine, PBS) and queue policies.
• Improve automation, reliability, and performance of EDA compute infra.
