Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Engineering Management Specialist - DevOps Engineer to help transform technology platforms and drive innovation for clients under the GPS practice. You will deploy and optimize AWS infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor system health, and collaborate across teams to sustain reliable operations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in DevOps on AWS, expertise with OpenShift and Docker, and demonstrated ability to lead projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting AWS.
• 1+ years provisioning, deploying, and managing environments within AWS.
• 1+ years of experience building, maintaining, and executing deployment scripts and supporting code releases across environments.
• 1+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, GitLab Runners, and AWS services used in the role.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 0-10% on average.
• Preferred: Experience with 3Scale API Gateway, ForgeRock/OpenID Connect, Talend, DevSecOps, scripting for cloud ops, or AI-related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure including OpenShift clusters.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners.
• Monitor platform health and security; address reliability issues.
• Manage cloud services: AWS Batch, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, CloudTrail, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB, Lambda, Step Functions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infra teams to improve workflows and docs.
