Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice seeks a Senior Engineering Management Specialist - DevOps Engineer to deploy and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab Runners, and collaborate across engineering teams. You will monitor platform health, work on security tooling, and guide projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps with AWS, OpenShift, Docker, and automation experience, plus the ability to travel up to 10%

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting AWS environments.
1+ years provisioning, deploying, and managing AWS environments.
1+ years deploying scripts and code releases across environments.
1+ years with OpenShift, Docker, GitLab Runners, and AWS services listed.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Travel 0-10% expected.
Preferred: 3Scale API Gateway.
Preferred: ForgeRock and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Preferred: Talend or CMS frameworks.
Preferred: DevSecOps practices.
Preferred: scripting/automation for cloud ops.
Experience supporting AI solutions, data lake deployments, analytics, or AI-enabled scripting/tools.

Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infra including OpenShift clusters.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners.
Monitor health, performance, and security; address reliability issues.
Manage AWS services: AWS Batch, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, CloudTrail, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB, Lambda, Step Functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve workflows.
Lead projects or workstreams and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
