Job summary

Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team seeks a Senior Engineering Management Specialist - DevOps Engineer to deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain platform reliability and security while guiding projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, independent work, and clear communication within Deloitte’s GPS division, with travel up to 10% depending on client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience with AWS environments.
• 1+ year provisioning and managing AWS environments.
• 1+ year deploying scripts and code releases across environments.
• 1+ year experience with OpenShift, Docker, GitLab Runners and AWS services.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 0-10% based on client engagements.
• Preferred: 3Scale API Gateway, ForgeRock & OpenID Connect, Talend.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices.
• Experience scripting and automation for cloud operations.
• Experience supporting AI solutions, data lake deployment, or AI-enabled tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and security.
• Manage AWS services including Batch, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, CloudTrail, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB, Lambda, Step Functions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infra teams to troubleshoot issues and improve workflows.
