Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer 4 to provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system using cutting-edge technologies. This role supports infrastructure automation, platform operations, cloud services, CI/CD, and system reliability in a primarily on-site SCIF environment.

Key duties include building IaC, managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD, and maintaining compliance on RHEL systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation is essential.
• On-site work in a SCIF environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools.
• Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems.
• Install, configure, and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics tools.
