Job summary

CACI in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure to join a mission-critical team blending core software development with cloud operations. You will design, deploy, and optimize environments, pipelines, and containers for reliable production systems.

Qualifications include 8+ years in software engineering or DevOps, proficiency in Python/Go/Java, Kubernetes with Helm/Argo CD, and a current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. This role requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering and/or DevOps experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across application code and runtime environments.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
• IAT Level II or III certification.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain clean, scalable code for complex applications and microservices.
• Design and configure Kubernetes clusters and use Helm/Argo CD to deploy into operations.
• Construct and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Write scripts (Python, Bash) and IaC to automate environments and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot both app and infra issues.
