Job summary

WebEngage is hiring for a high-scale infrastructure role in the United States. You will design, implement and automate secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, drive the roadmap, and improve reliability with CI/CD and observability tools. Strong Linux, networking, scripting, and Kubernetes experience are required.

You will work to optimize cloud costs, enforce security programs (ISO, SOC2), and collaborate across teams to meet performance SLAs.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 1–4 years of experience in running high-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on with shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Go.
• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and deployment automation.
• Experience with CI/CD and monitoring tools (Prometheus, DataDog, Sentry, OpenTelemetry).
• Knowledge of distributed tech (Kafka, Elasticsearch) and web servers (nginx).
• Interest in going deeper beyond abstractions; Kubernetes experience is key.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-scale, secure infrastructure.
• Own a slice of the infrastructure roadmap and drive improvements.
• Enhance security practices across infrastructure and ensure compliance.
• Lead infosec programs like ISO, SOC2, etc.
• Improve operational efficiency and reduce cloud costs.
• Boost reliability with CI/CD, centralized logging, observability, and more.
• Automate provisioning of the entire infrastructure.
• Plan and test BCP/DR procedures and monitor SLAs.
