Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a Cloud and Technology company in a remote-capable role. The engineer will influence decisions across platform APIs, CI components, and delivery workflows, with responsibilities spanning architecture, automation, and platform readiness.

Strong emphasis on security, reliability, and scalable onboarding. The role requires 8+ years in platform engineering, hands-on programming, and expertise in Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CI/CD, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Platform/DevOps engineering or related fields.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on programming with Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or similar languages and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, strategy, and technical direction of Platform Services.
• ,
• Design and enhance Kubernetes-based deployment systems, ArgoCD workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and promotion automation.
• Create scalable golden-path solutions to onboard, deploy, and operate apps securely.
• Drive automation of manual processes for reliability and auditability.
• Partner with engineering, security, and operations teams to lead architecture reviews.
