Job summary

STR is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to establish and maintain CI/CD infrastructure for real-time embedded systems. You will design build automation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and deployment pipelines to support rapid prototyping and transition of algorithms to production.

You will collaborate with software and systems teams, implement automated testing, security scanning, and maintain development environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance required (ability to obtain TS).
• BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE/EE or related field with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and embedded Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-language, multi-platform projects.
• Maintain containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Create automated build systems for C/C++ and Python using CMake, Conan, and Make.
• Develop automated testing frameworks (unit/integration/system tests).
• Configure GitLab runners and testing infrastructure across sites.
• Document DevOps processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Travel ~20% for system integration events and customer demos.
