Job summary

Venatôre LLC in the United States seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen software delivery through automation and collaboration between development and operations. You will configure CI/CD pipelines, automate builds/deployments, manage IaC and configuration, and improve observability and security to enhance scalability and resilience.

This is a full-time, onsite role at a client site in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO requiring TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years IT experience in lieu of degree.
• 6+ years of directly related professional experience.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins/CircleCI).
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-style operations.
• Knowledge of zero-trust identity (OIDC/OAuth).
• Experience managing web servers, DNS, and certificate management.
• Knowledge of HTTP API design and security practices.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing networking.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS.
• IaC/configuration management (Terraform, OpenShift, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Monitoring/logging/security for containerized environments.
• Experience deploying databases with SQL/ORMs.
• Ability to develop tooling in Python and Bash.
• Contribute code updates to existing repositories.
• Experience with system design and architecture diagrams.
• Security component integration with apps and databases.
• Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple web applications.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and Helm/OpenShift deployment scripts.
• Manage security, monitoring, and observability for containerized environments.
• Deploy applications across development, staging, and production environments.
• Support GitOps operations using ArgoCD.
• Develop enterprise cloud solutions and application software.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on performance requirements.
• Create architecture diagrams and documentation for systems.
