Job summary

OSavul, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to scale on-premise deployments, manage air-gapped environments, and strengthen global infrastructure for NATO and EU clients. This remote role combines hands-on engineering with strategic planning, collaborating across security, cloud, and client teams.

You’ll own CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring using AWS, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Grafana, while traveling occasionally to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with senior responsibilities.
• Citizenship of a NATO member country.
• Hands-on experience deploying and running systems on-premise (bare-metal or virtualization).
• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing.
• Solid AWS experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible), and a GitOps approach (Argo CD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is a big plus; Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar also work).
• Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Scripting in Bash and/or Python.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure security: system hardening, secrets management, access control, network segmentation.
• Upper-intermediate (B2+) English or higher: you will work with clients directly, including on-site.
• Readiness for business trips to clients.
• Self-driven and proactive, comfortable owning your work in a fast-changing environment, and using AI tools in your daily work.

Responsibilities

• Scale on-premise and air-gapped deployments from architecture to delivery, updates, rollback and monitoring.
• Travel to clients when needed to set up and support deployments on-site, and represent the company in technical discussions.
• Operate and evolve our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to the long-term infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Implement security policies and best practices together with our security team.
• Support engineering teams with the infrastructure their services need.
• Take part in the technical team's on-call rotation.
