Job summary

Archer, an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead automation, stability, and performance across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will own CI/CD, configuration management, and observability, with a focus on large language model infrastructure.

Bring 5+ years of DevOps experience, Kubernetes and Docker mastery, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, Python and Bash scripting, and Linux administration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep Kubernetes and Docker expertise (design, deployment, troubleshooting).
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• IaC and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Observability with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with LLM infrastructure (LiteLLM/OpenRouter) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infra across public cloud and on‑prem data centers.
• Develop and maintain configuration management with Ansible/Terraform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable software releases.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Monitor and improve observability with Datadog and related tools.
• Deploy and manage LLM infrastructure using LiteLLM/OpenRouter.
• Automate tasks with Bash and Python; collaborate with Dev, MLOps, and security teams.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for reliability.
