Job summary

Rentvine is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead design, deployment, and optimization of AWS and GCP infrastructure. You will scale our platform, improve security, and boost engineering velocity through automation and best practices.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA to ensure secure, observable, high-performing environments. Expect on-call rotations and a focus on incident response and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP across compute, DBs, VPCs, and IAM.
• Proficient with Terraform or similar IaC across multi-clouds.
• Proficient in Linux, scripting (Bash/Python).
• Knowledge of IAM, networking, and security in AWS/GCP.
• Experience with blue/green deployment, database upgrades, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain multi-cloud infra (AWS/GCP) using IaC.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and blue/green deployment strategies.
• Implement and monitor security, IAM, and incident response plans.
• Coordinate with security & engineering for regular penetration tests.
• Plan zero-downtime database upgrades and rollbacks.
• Manage multi-account Terraform workflows and per-tier IAM roles.
• Configure logging, monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch, Cloud Monitoring).
• Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
• Document systems, runbooks, and security best practices.
