Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to support the NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform and D3P modernization in Bethesda, MD. You will design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack, containerized microservices architecture in a mission-focused environment.

You will deploy and manage production pipelines on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka, enhance CI/CD processes, and collaborate across systems engineering, architecture, development, security, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in the category field.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture on Kubernetes.
• Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes.
• Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions.
