Job summary

Enlighten seeks a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced team in Augusta, GA. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and scalable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in DevOps or related fields and holds DoD 8140/8570 certifications or can obtain them. This on-site position requires an active clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly and U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 9+ years in DevOps or software development, or 7 years with a related master's degree; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container orchestration, AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, etc.), Terraform and Ansible.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go; comfortable in a terminal.
• DoD 8140/8570 certifications or ability to obtain before starting.
• On-site work at customer site in Augusta, GA, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure development and deployment in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD for reliability and scalability.
• Maintain Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate apps into operations.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability.
• Continuously improve tools and processes for performance.
• Stay updated on new technologies to enhance infrastructure.
• Other duties as assigned.
