Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevOps Engineer on a 200+ FTE ICAM program to deliver modern identity access management solutions. You will help design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based infrastructure and software across environments.

In this role you’ll collaborate with senior engineers and PMs, use GitHub/Jenkins, Unix scripting, and Atlassian tools to track work and ensure customer use cases are met. Strong communication and independent problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or equivalent.
• Expert in the software development lifecycle with DevOps toolsets and CI/CD.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Experience with development on Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software development initiatives to support innovation and enhancement.
• Solve higher level and larger scope technical problems.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automation for development, test, and production.
• Break down high level requirements into actionable tasks for implementation.
• Develop, prototype and deploy solutions on Commercial Cloud Platforms.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to align user stories with customer use cases.
• Analyze infrastructure needs driven by software development and testing.
