Job summary

Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within Enterprise BTO. You will drive automation, modernize the tech stack on AWS, and improve operational efficiency while enhancing user experiences.

Lead cross-functional projects, implement pipelines, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business goals and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience across Systems Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Operations, and hands-on Cloud Engineering.
• Experience supporting engineering teams through automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and Node.js.
• Strong experience supporting and operating on-premises and AWS infrastructure, including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, and related services.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Unix shell scripting, and Control-M to build, test, automate, and maintain cloud-native and legacy applications.
• Ability to design and deploy applications leveraging AWS services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and pipeline capabilities, based on evolving business and technology needs.
• Experience integrating and supporting CI/CD platforms, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, to enable continuous delivery and efficient development workflows.
