Plenful is hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and scale the infrastructure, tooling, and deployment systems that power our product and engineering velocity. You'll work across our distributed workflow engine, serverless pipelines, containerized services, and Postgres-based data layer.

This role reports into engineering leadership and focuses on automating, deploying, and operating our platform with reliability and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Built and operated production systems in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) and modern deployment workflows are required.
• Experience with serverless patterns, containers, distributed workflows, and Postgres.
• Strong observability, performance debugging, and load testing skills.
• Ability to script or build services to automate infrastructure and developer workflows.
• High ownership mindset, teamwork, clear communication, and startup pragmatism.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code for scalability and consistency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments.
• Standardize deployment patterns across serverless workloads, containers, and workflow orchestration.
• Improve provisioning and deployment to enable engineers to move fast with reduced risk.
• Develop internal tooling and automation to simplify backend and ML workflows.
• Enhance local and staging environments to reduce development friction.
• Enable self-serve infrastructure through abstractions, templates, and documentation.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the development and deployment lifecycle.
