Job summary

Striveworks is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. You will own and optimize the environments that national security customers depend on, deploying custom Kubernetes clusters and managing IaC automation.

You will mentor juniors and collaborate with both platform developers and customer teams. Requirements include 6+ years in containerized environments, Helm/Kustomizations, Python or Go, Terraform, and US citizenship with security clearance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with containerized environments.
• Experience with Helm charts and Kustomizations deployments.
• Proficient in Python and/or Golang programming.
• Strong automation and IaC skills, e.g., Terraform.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure.
• Managing and troubleshooting Linux systems.
• Active US security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment environments and maintain, optimize, and enhance them.
• Deploy custom Kubernetes clusters and manage IaC automation.
• Serve as the operational link between platform developers and customer-facing teams.
• Mentor junior DevOps teammates.
• Travel up to 30% including international travel.
