Job summary

PMAT Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to world‑class software for DoD programs. You will support multiple programs, improve architectures, and enable secure, high‑performance applications at scale.

Role requires strong DevOps, security mindset, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams across lifecycle stages. You will mentor junior staff, document architectures, and help push PMAT’s mission of mission‑centric design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, or CSE.
• 8+ years in DevOps with DoD exposure.
• Containerization experience (Docker, VMware).
• Strong Kubernetes, CI/CD, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Terraform and Ansible familiarity.
• AWS services and Git experience.
• DevSecOps, IaC, and production monitoring exposure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting secure software.
• Support full software lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Provide DevOps SME guidance across programs.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product managers.
• Document solutions with diagrams, comments, and clear designs.
• Mentor less senior DevOps engineers.
