SEVEN Networks in Marshall, TX seeks a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain on-premise and cloud-native infrastructure. You will support development, test and production environments, manage backups, and drive automation for deployment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years Linux admin experience (RHEL/CentOS), cloud ops exposure (AWS/GCP), scripting (Bash/Python) and strong security and networking knowledge. Join a team pushing cloud and data center innovation.

Formación

• BS degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years Linux server administration experience with RHEL/CentOS.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud operations.
• Experience with Cassandra/Hadoop DB administration is a plus.
• Operational experience maintaining cloud security and traffic management.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to manage services via IPTables/TCP wrappers.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and Apache httpd.
• Strong scripting with Bash or Python.
• Experience supporting web development and scientists/users.
• Strong Linux security skills and cybersecurity awareness.
• Experience with block storage: RAID, Fibre Channel, LVM.
• Troubleshooting performance of multi-CPU workloads.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to manage project workloads with minimal supervision and support tickets.
• Knowledge of cluster architecture and virtualization (Xen/KVM).
• Experience with Docker container platform and lifecycle.
