Job summary

Nearform is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with emphasis on deployment automation and security. You will work with Kubernetes, IaC, and modern CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable digital solutions for enterprise clients.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding best practices, and supporting client projects while maintaining high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level (>=6 years).
• Experience building real-world cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
• Python scripting experience.
• Strong observability and monitoring knowledge.
• Security best practices across cloud, CI/CD and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop deployment architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Implement monitoring dashboards, alerts, and escalation.
• Automate infrastructure with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Manage containers and Kubernetes deployments.
• Enforce security across CI/CD, cloud, and microservices.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows.
• Advise clients on cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Assist with client requirements analysis.
• Support Technical Leaders in project execution.
