Zusammenfassung

VTG Defense is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical SIGINT systems at Fort Meade. You will administer Linux systems, design scalable networks, and automate deployments with Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly and a strong background in DevSecOps across hybrid cloud environments. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab, develop Python/Bash scripts, and work on Arista/Cisco networks, ensuring high availability and security

Qualifikationen

• US Citizen with TS/SCI with Poly required.
• 12+ years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution. Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. A Master of Science may substitute for two years of required experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of SIGINT survey, collection, and geolocation systems.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and optimize Arista and Cisco network devices and WAN/LAN networks.
• Administer Linux environments, especially RHEL/CentOS.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Support hybrid cloud/virtualized environments and 24/7 on-call operations.
