Octus is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with developers, SRE, security, and IT to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of products.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a DevOps role.
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform.
• Expert knowledge of cloud concepts and services (AWS).
• Expert Linux knowledge; strong automation scripting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and document RCA of incidents.
• Solid understanding of security principles and controls.
• Experience with IaC and configuration management tools.
• Experience with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with monitoring/logging (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deploy.
• Prioritize workload to maximize developer efficiency.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scale and cost.
• Collaborate with SRE to develop monitoring and alerting.
• Work with Security to enforce security best practices.
• Coordinate with software developers to improve performance and reliability.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Communicate project status, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotations for system support.
