Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Chantilly, VA seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer SME to lead enterprise CI/CD strategy and secure software delivery for federal clients.

You design automated deployment platforms using GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native patterns. You will drive modernization across environments with zero-trust alignment and collaborate across teams to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• (8+) years of professional DevOps experience.
• Hands-on with enterprise CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Experience with containerization: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing and multi-environment pipelines.
• Strong scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Experience with Agile DevOps practices.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated deployment platforms using GitLab, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native patterns.
• Drive modernization across environments to ensure reliable delivery of applications and ML solutions.
• Establish enterprise-wide DevOps best practices and zero-trust alignment.
• Support secure software delivery in hybrid and classified environments.
