Job summary

Ryan seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and run a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will build an Internal Developer Portal, self-service tooling, and platform capabilities to standardize software delivery across the organization.

You will champion an automation-first culture, collaborate across teams, and drive secure, scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform and IaC, while improving developer experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• 6+ years hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep development expertise in Java and/or Node.js.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server.
• Strong scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience with automation such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, Git branching, and secure delivery.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience leading technical evaluations and PoCs.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion automation-first DevOps culture and continuous improvement.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP).
• Integrate IDP with CI/CD, cloud infra, identity, and observability.
• Maintain service catalogs and documentation standards.
• Design and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js.
• Build deployment workflows across AWS and Azure, with automated testing and security checks.
• Design reusable templates and libraries to enforce best practices.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
