Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen infrastructure, improve deployment reliability, and scale secure, high-performing platforms. You will work across IaC, CI/CD, system administration, Kubernetes, and observability, partnering with engineering and operations to boost delivery efficiency and platform resilience.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps or related fields, strong Linux and Kubernetes expertise, and experience with AWS/Azure cloud services.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and system administration.
Experience with software development practices and CI/CD.
Strong proficiency in Linux environments.
Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration concepts.
Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Helm, Vault, New Relic, and Graylog.
Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud services.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Docker Certified Associate.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and speed.
Administer and support Linux-based systems across development and production environments.
Manage and enhance Kubernetes and containerized platforms.
Drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes.
Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using logging and observability tools.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and platform issues.
Support secure platform operations, including secrets management and operational best practices.
Contribute to scalable, resilient, and maintainable DevOps standards across the organization.
