Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance stability and observability of production systems in Alpharetta, GA. You will collaborate with development, DevOps and security teams to ensure production readiness and scalable deployments.

You will implement SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, automate operations, manage AWS EKS Kubernetes workloads, and participate in on-call incident response while improving CI/CD pipelines and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years as an SRE, DevOps engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Route53, IAM).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes production workloads and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance observability across production systems using New Relic, Graylog, and other tools.
• Collaborate to define and monitor SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and ensure reliability.
• Automate operational processes and manage Kubernetes workloads on AWS EKS.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews with root-cause analysis.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams and document playbooks.
