MANTECH in Herndon, VA seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive automation, optimize infrastructure, and advance big data analytics capabilities for a mission-critical environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in DevOps, cloud computing, and systems administration, with strong Linux, Bash, and CI/CD expertise. Collaboration across Software, Systems, Network, and Data teams is essential to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience; alternative: HS diploma with 14+ years of technical experience.
• 11+ years of experience with DevOps, front-end, or full-stack development and automation.
• Proficiency with Bash scripting and Linux administration; systems design experience.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and provision AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) for scalable architectures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub).
• Perform vulnerability scans and security patching; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes/EKS clusters for high availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet operational and security requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
