Job summary

Mantis Security Corporation in Herndon, Virginia, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrate tools, and automate deployment across AWS and OpenShift environments. You will work with Linux, Bash and Python scripting, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, and container technologies to streamline builds and deployments, while ensuring security practices fit a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience or advanced degree with senior-level experience.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD tooling; familiar with Jenkins, SonarQube, and security-focused DevSecOps practices.
• DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
• Write/modify Helm charts and infrastructure as code scripts.
• Troubleshoot and automate deployment and integration issues across Jenkins, GitLab, and OpenShift/AWS environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to onboard new microservices into pipelines.
• Ensure security and compliance within a DevSecOps mindset.
