Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, implement, and manage secure multi‑cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). You will focus on security monitoring and threat detection while leveraging DevOps tools to automate and scale operations.

The role requires 5+ years of cloud experience, IaC expertise, and the ability to work across teams to resolve complex technical challenges in a mission‑critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years cloud computing experience across AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI.
• Experience designing multi-cloud solutions and DevOps tooling.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or YAML.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure multi‑cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Focus on security monitoring, threat detection, and robust logging/compliance.
• Develop automation scripts and use serverless/cloud automation services.
• Configure network security controls and manage compute, storage, and DB services.
• Collaborate across teams to address complex cloud engineering challenges.
