Job summary

ARCHER Systems is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for .NET and Angular apps. You will optimize cloud resources, enforce security controls, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliable deployments and scalable infrastructure.

The role requires 6+ years in DevOps with a focus on Windows IIS, scripting in PowerShell/Python, and experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, and artifact management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years DevOps experience with Windows IIS.
• Experience deploying .NET & Angular apps.
• Expert knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient with PowerShell, Groovy, and Python.
• Expert knowledge of IIS, Windows Services and NPM.
• Cloud infra with AWS and Azure; S3; Lambda/Azure Functions.
• Docker and Kubernetes for containers.
• Nexus or Artifactory for artifacts.
• Monitoring with New Relic and Sentry.
• Security practices incl SOC 2, HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET/Angular apps.
• Security measures incl IAM, encryption, SOC 2/HIPAA compliance.
• Optimize cloud resources and reduce costs.
• Document systems, processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT for deployments.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and upkeep tasks.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Groovy, Python).
• Manage artifacts with Nexus/JFrog.
• Create monitoring with New Relic and Sentry.
• Manage AWS/Azure infra incl VMs, containers, and S3.
• Implement security controls and vulnerability scanning (Tenable, SonarQube, MEND).
• Troubleshoot infra/app issues to minimize downtime.
• Configure networking and support databases (SQL Server, Redis).
• Work in Agile environment with Jira.
