Job summary

Agadia, based in Parsippany, NJ, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain a scalable infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to optimize deployments and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of DevOps experience.
• Strong IIS configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet (PowerShell DSC preferred).
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated Git knowledge and workflows.
• Proven ability to manage code mergers and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Git for version control, branching, and collaboration workflows.
• Manage code merges, resolve conflicts, and ensure code quality in repositories.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using industry tools.
• Design and manage Windows-based infrastructure including Windows Servers and IIS.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize reliability.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and coordinate with development teams.
• Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production and document procedures.
• Stay current with DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.
