Job summary

University of Colorado System Administration seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead automation across ECS CrossApps Middleware. You will design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and GitOps deployments, working with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Oracle Fusion Middleware in a complex enterprise environment.

You will mentor team members, coordinate maintenance, and drive improvements in monitoring, security, and reliability while partnering with application owners

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Five years’ experience in application engineering, automation, and enterprise platform design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior technical architect for large systems and applications, focusing on automation, monitoring, and orchestration.
Lead technical architecture discussions with owners, initiative leaders, and project teams.
Apply DevOps and GitOps principles to build and operate highly available services.
