Job summary

Delta Dental of New Jersey & Connecticut is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role based in Parsippany, NJ. You will build and operate CI/CD pipelines, deploy on GCP, and drive automation across cloud and integration platforms in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

The role requires 4–6 years in application analysis/support, cloud experience, and a background in regulated industries. Expect collaboration across security, network, data, and dev teams with opportunity to mentor peers.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ experience in general application analysis/support including .Net, data integration through APIs, coding, and scripting.
• 3+ years of hands‑on cloud platform experience (GCP, Azure, or AWS) deploying and managing solutions.
• Health Care or other regulated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and deploy solutions in GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL).
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, data flows, and deployment runbooks.
• Operate within ITIL practices (Change, Release, Problem Management).
• Lead code reviews and set engineering standards for the Application Services team.
