Delta Dental of New Jersey & Connecticut is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to evolve how we build, integrate, and operate applications across cloud, DevOps, and integration platforms. This role writes code, builds automation, and supports production systems in a HIPAA-regulated environment, while contributing to modernization efforts and AI-assisted tooling.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working onsite in our Parsippany, NJ office two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ experience in general application analysis/support including .Net, data integration through APIs, coding, and scripting.
• 3+ years of hands-on cloud platform experience (GCP, Azure, or AWS) deploying and managing solutions.
• Health Care or other regulated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and deploy solutions in GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL).
• Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, etc.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
• Support DDNJ's integration and connectivity tools such as MuleSoft.
• Debug and resolve complex problems in production environments.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Datadog).
• Provide remote off-hours 24x7 support on a rotating basis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
• Operate within ITIL processes (Change, Release, Problem Management).
• Act as technical advisor and mentor for cloud technologies.
