Job summary

Delta Dental of California is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to automate and optimize software delivery across cloud and on-prem environments. You will design GitHub actions pipelines and manage Azure services like AKS, App Service, and API management, while embracing IaC with Terraform and scripting to empower developers.

You will mentor teams, build self-service tooling, and drive improvements in CI/CD practices, Docker-based deployments, and WebLogic/SpringBoot ecosystems, contributing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps experience with a Computer Science or equivalent background.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure across Oracle, AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Strong GitHub Actions pipelines knowledge, YAML, triggers, and release management.
• Proficient in shell/python scripting for automation and on-prem interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Github actions pipelines with YAML and release management.
• Architect and manage Azure cloud services including AKS, App Service, ACE, APIM, AFD, ADF.
• Use Terraform IaC for provisioning and managing cloud resources on Azure.
• Automate tasks and interact with on-premise systems via shell scripting.
• Develop self-service capabilities within GitHub Enterprise Cloud for developers.
