Job summary

Rapid Strategy is seeking a DevOps Engineer-II to build and maintain infrastructure, deploy applications, and automate operations. The role requires hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud platforms, and an active TS/SCI clearance. Location options include Colorado Springs, MD, Reston, or Washington DC.

You will collaborate with developers to deploy secure code, monitor systems, and ensure high availability across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with Kubernetes as the orchestrator.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• 4–7 years of DevOps or related IT experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with source code management tools (Git, GitLab).
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate and deploy code securely and efficiently.
• Manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Support software release cycles and ensure high availability.
